who are we ?
My name is Cédric, founder of the company. I'm a self-taught and passionate tailor. After many years honing my skills and knowledge, I finally created TAPIR Equipements in September 2019 in my garage.
Initially, the idea was to primarily offer custom-made products to both our clients in specialized units and law enforcement agencies.
Over time, customer demand increased rapidly, forcing me to reassess my priorities. As a result, the custom-made aspect of my business decreased slightly each year, in favor of more intensive and higher-volume production.
At the end of 2023, a qualified seamstress joined the company, and from then on, TAPIR Equipements was no longer just one person, but a team.
The workshop
The adventure began in a small 18m² basement garage, and in 2023 the company moved into a 190m² workshop in Aoste (38).
From October 2024 to June 2026, major renovations were undertaken:
- addition of a 100m² mezzanine
- new machines and a dedicated laser cutting room
- brand new, well-equipped offices and kitchen
- and, most importantly, extensive insulation and air conditioning work
- creation of a showroom and an order preparation room
Today, our workshop covers approximately 280m² on two levels.
The show room
Our showroom is accessible by appointment only:
Monday to Friday, between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
(These times are approximate; the door will be closed if you do not book an appointment.)
You will be able to discover our entire product range and try them out on-site.
Please book your appointment at least 30 minutes in advance, as we are sometimes unavailable or absent.
